Around six years ago, Hans Christian and Hanne Karstensen bought the old farm Melkvika Heimgård in Rødøy — a farm that had not been worked for fifty years. You get there by boat, or on foot over the mountain. They farm organically with heritage sheep and hens, cut the grass with a scythe and dry the hay on racks.
